Take a day trip to the Camel Park in Arteara and experience a day in the "desert", like a true Canarian!

You will drive through the mini Gran Canyon of Gran Canaria (with a nice photo stop to take in a beautiful view of Fataga) to the Arteara Camel Park.

Once at the park you will be given a safety briefing before climbing aboard your very own Camel to start the 45-minute Camel ride through the valley of the 100-Palm-trees (alternative route to be used in case of force majeure).

After the camel ride, you will enjoy a complementary light lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Fataga. Lunch (bread, cheeses & ham plus juice and tea/coffee. Please note food is subject to changes).

After this you will visit the beautiful village of Fataga located in a lush valley where you will walk with your guide through the village taking in all of the local culture and the typical Canarian way of life.(30min)

The return to the hotels is approximately at 3pm.

Tour Information

Tour Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays only, all year round.

Meeting Point: Hotel pick ups are available from the Puerto Rico area and Puerto de Mogan only. Please contact the supplier in resort to confirm pick-up details.

Duration: 6Hrs approx, between 9am and 3pm approximately.

Inclusions: Hotel transfers, light lunch and English speaking guide.

Exclusions: Additional food and drinks and any other services not mentioned above.

Participants: It is required a minimum of 10 passengers per tour.

Additional Information: Full safety briefing will be given upon arrival. Long trousers must be worn on this tour.

Please remember to bring sunscreen and a hat as temperatures can reach 80 degrees even in winter months!
